Harold Maurice Neer, Jr., 76, resident of Bartlesville, died Wednesday.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Harold Maurice Neer, Jr., was born November 17, 1935 at Sparks, Oklahoma to Harold Maurice and Mary Bernice (McAnulty) Neer. He was raised and received his education in Sparks, Oklahoma and Gravette, Arkansas, graduating high school at Gravette in 1953. Mr. Neer attended the University of Arkansas where he graduated with a bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering. He married Karen Cox on February 11, 1961. He was employed at Phillips Petroleum Company, Applied Automation and TRW in Bartlesville. Mr. Neer served in the U.S. Army in Germany for four years receiving his honorable discharge. He was a member of the Bartlesville Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include; his daughter Dana Neer French of Ballwin, Missouri; his son David Neer of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and four grandchildren; Kelsey Neer, Jacob French, Rachel French and Emily French.
