Caspian James Neely, born May 13, 2022 in Enid, Oklahoma, to James and Rebecca (Tyler) Neely, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Caspian was a teacher, he taught many subjects while on the earth. He taught that the strength of the Lord is made perfect in weakness. For our light affliction which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. He taught patience. That patience is more than endurance. Caspian loved music; he loved his parents singing songs to him. “What A Friend We Have in Jesus,” “Rejoice in The Lord,” and “Glory to His Name” were some of his favorites.
Caspian had a tender soft spirit, nicknamed “Sweet Boy” by his favorite nurses. He had a strong grip and was quite the picky eater. On October 2, 2022 Caspian went home to Heaven. His mission will continue on in those he has succeeded, his mother Rebecca Neely, father, James Neely, and brother Eli. We know his voice is ringing as he sings those old sweet songs. And we’ll soon go home to join him, singing there around God’s throne. The last lesson Caspian taught is found in Philippians 1:20; So now also Christ Shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death. For 143 days Caspian ministered to many souls.
We invite you to the Memorial Service in memory of Caspian at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 am, Saturday, October 8, 2022, with Pastor William Creveling celebrating Caspian’s life.
