Stanley Earl Nease, 79, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 in McLoud, Oklahoma.
He was born September 1, 1942 to Andrew and Laverne (Lowden) Nease in San Diego, California.
Stanley was raised in Stratford, Asher and Shawnee. He graduated from Shawnee High School. Stanley has resided in Shawnee most of his life.
Stanley married the love of his life, Anna Lee Beggs on May 29, 1961 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on July 17, 2020.
He worked as a TIG Welder for Tinker Air Force Base for many years and was responsible for training new hires to TIG Weld while at Tinker until his retirement in 1991. Stanley also worked at Hall and Storie Tool & Die. After retirement he worked in maintenance at McLoud Public Schools.
He loved fishing, hunting, especially quail hunting, camping, welding, gardening and training bird dogs. Stanley was a member of the Masons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Lea Nease; parents, Andrew and Kathryn Nease; brother, Ronald Nease; and sister, Linda Suttle.
Stanley is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Tricia and Curtis Stanford of McLoud, OK; granddaughter and spouse, Lyndsey and Craig Little of McLoud; grandson and fiancé, Cody Stanford and Ashley of McLoud; 3 great grandchildren, Gracie, Chloe, and Bryson; 2 aunts, Betty Young of Tecumseh, OK and Mary Armstron of Grandbury, TX; uncle, Ladue Nease of Midland, TX; sister-in-law, Karen Nease of Shawnee, OK; cousins, Nobie Lowden of St. Louis, OK, Mark Nease of Midland, TX, Gayla Mabee and husband John of Midland, TX and Rick Nease of Shawnee, OK; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends
Public Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Taylor, New Beginnings Church of Shawnee, OK officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
