Patsy Ruth (Price) Natho
September 13, 1934 ~ July 17, 2017

Patsy Ruth (Price) Natho passed away peacefully on July 17, 2017 due to dementia-related illness.

Patsy was born September 13, 1934 in Texola, Oklahoma, and was raised in Borger, Texas. There she met Carl Natho, who would become her husband of 53 years. They later moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where they lived for decades and raised their two children, David and Amy. Carl and Patsy retired to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas in 1997. In the last years of life, Patsy found joy in her dear companion Bob Rogers.

Patsy had many jobs in her lifetime, including stay-at-home Mom, legal assistant with Phillips Petroleum Company, antiques appraiser, and running Two Friends Estate Sales with a partner in the Village. She volunteered countless hours of her time to support church activities and community organizations. She was a member of PEO sorority and the Kiwanis Club.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Olvin and LaNell Price, her brother Joe Price, and her husband Carl Natho. She is survived by son David Natho (Karen Hallett), daughter Amy Natho (Mike Porter), and numerous "honorary grandchildren."

We will remember her as feisty, outspoken, funny, strong-willed and fiercely independent, with a flair for the dramatic...but also as a loving and committed wife and mother with a tender heart, generous spirit, and a passion for helping others. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends, but we are glad that she is once again whole, at peace, and reunited with loved ones who have gone before.

We owe a debt of gratitude to the staff of Village Springs Health and Rehabilitation and Dierksen Hospice for the loving care they provided to Patsy in her last weeks of life. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

We will celebrate Patsy's life at a memorial service at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hot Springs Village on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Patsy's name to Cedar Mountain Boys & Girls Club (http://www.scbgclub.com/cedar-mountain-club); Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League (http://www.hsvawl.org/); the Holy Trinity Shoe Fund (send a check to Holy Trinity, 199 Barcelona Rd, Hot Springs Village AR, 71909 and designate Shoe Fund in the memo line); or the Community Hospices of America Foundation (http://www.chafoundation.net/contribute-online).

Arrangements have been entrusted to CedarVale - The Hot Springs Village Funeral Home.
