Russell Ray Nantz

Russell Ray Nantz
December 24, 1964 ~ May 6, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Russell Ray Nantz. He was born on December 24th, 1964 in Tulsa, OK. He passed away on May 6th, 2026, in Tulsa, OK.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen (Rabs) Nantz, and his daughter, Jennifer Nantz. He is also survived by his father, Cecil Nantz, and his two sisters, Connie Morris and her husband Tom, and Kimberly White, as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Melba Nantz.

During his life, he was well known as a loving, intelligent, and reliable man. Russell graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1988 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. He graduated from the University of Tulsa again in 1993 with a Master’s in Business Administration. He spent the majority of his career, well over 30 years, as an auditor for both public and private entities. He also spent 15 years in automobile sales, and was recognized multiple times by the American Honda Council of Sales for Leadership in Sales in both silver and gold tiers. When Russell wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs, and working on his Jeep.

Services for Russell will be held on May 23rd, 2026 at 2pm at Claremore First Methodist Church. The dress code for his services will be casual, and guests are encouraged to wear “Hawaiian” patterned shirts or clothing in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to either the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
