Susie Musick was born April 10, 1958 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Nadine and Wayne Parr. She passed away March 18, 2013 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years, 11 months and 8 days.
Susie attended various schools throughout her childhood before graduating from Tipton High School. She continued her education at Southwestern State University in Sayre, graduating with an Associate of Science Degree in 1999. She later worked as a cook at Roger Mills Memorial Hospital.
She was married to Thomas Willard Musick, Sr. On June 12, 1981 in Sayre, Oklahoma and they made their home in the Reydon community. Susie unselfishly devoted her life to caring for the ones she loved, putting other's needs ahead of her own. Her pride and joy was her grandchildren who loved spending time with their "Nana". She never was without ice cream or treats for any of the children that walked through the door. Susie will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Willard Musick, Sr. And her grandson Allen Wayne Vow.
She is survived by her children, Misty Musick of Reydon, OK, Thomas Music, Jr. Of Reydon, Ok and Frankie Dale Musick of Merritt, OK; 7 grandchildren, Keelsey, Jordan, Eva, Ashley, Lexi, Sadee and Brailee, a sister, Deena Passmore and her husband Bobby Passmore of Lake Charles, LA; Their children Caitlyn Parr of Oklahoma City, OK, Dallas Passmore of Weatherford, OK, Savanna and Cheyenne Passmore of Lake Charles, LA; 3 brothers, Roger Parr of Reydon, OK, Chuck Parr and his wife Shannon Parr of Reydon, OK and Teddy Parr and his wife Melissa Parr of Pampa, TX; Their children Erin and Brandon Parr of Pampa, TX, Melesah Hover of Sayre, OK; and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the
Washita Cowboy Fellowship (Croton Creek) officiated by Rev. Terry Thompson.
