Ollie Fay Murrah was born on December 13, 1946, in Coal Hill, Arkansas to Jasper and Cora (Hansen) Ogden. Ollie passed away on June 13, 2024, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 77. Ollie married John Murrah in 1964 in Las Vegas, NV and they were united in marriage until John’s passing on November 10, 2012. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker to her family and loved taking care of everyone. She moved to Bryan County in 2004 from Westfork, Arkansas.
Ollie is preceded in death by her husband John Murrah; son Johnny Murrah; parents John and Cora Ogden; sisters Patsy Weemes, Amy Troxell, and Tiny Hensley; brothers Johnny Ogden and Olin Ogden and granddaughter Nichole Humphres.
Ollie is survived by her daughter Sheila Farmer; brother Ronnie Ogden; sister Patricia Artherholt; sister in law Ann Ogden; grandchildren Tori Humphres, John Murrah, Sarah Farmer, Timothy Conway, Brittany Farmer, and Kayla Murrah; great grandchildren Rhilyn Humphres, Maddox Wilson, Maci Owens, Maizen Owens, Mikailo Humphres and many more; nieces and nephews Renee Alston and husband Jason, David Artherholt, Debra Chavez and husband Rey, Trish Rolfe, and Natasha Seaton and husband Timothy and numerous extended family and friends.
