Mrs. Veronica Jean "Roni" Murphy, 81, of Bartlesville, died at 5:20 A.M. on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.
Memorial services for Mrs. Murphy will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2016 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Father Chris Daigle officiating. Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mrs. Murphy was born in Queens, New York on March 8, 1935 the daughter of Michael and Jane (Mulvihill) Coughlin. She grew up in Queens where she attended Bryant High School. She was also employed at Dannon Yogurt in Queens, New York. She was married to James Patrick "Murph" Murphy on November 19, 1975 in New York where they made their home until coming to Bartlesville in 2002. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Barnsdall and of the Altar Society in Barnsdall and was a volunteer at ElderCare, and a member of Tuesday Club.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Priboy and wife Laura and Edward Priboy all of Bartlesville, a sister, Patricia Santagato of Long Island, New York, one grandchild, Dobry Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Patrick "Murph" Murphy on March 15, 2007 and by a son, Gary Priboy.
