Perry Franklin Mullins

August 12, 1964 ~ December 2, 2014

Perry Franklin Mullins, of Norman, died December 2, 2014 in Ada at the age of 50. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 12 at Bishop Chapel of Memories. Service arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.

Perry was born August 12, 1964 in Henryetta to Leroy Dow and Mary Ruth (Kaler) Mullins.

He grew up in the Henryetta area and graduated from Dewar High School with the Class of 1982. He attended Connors State College and achieved an Associate of Science Degree in Police Science.

He married Denise Schweitzer on July 1, 1989.

In 1988, Perry began working for the Department of Corrections and retired in 2012 after 24 years of service.

His hobbies included fishing and camping.

He is survived by his wife: Denise of the home; daughter: Miranda of the home; brothers: Larry Mullins of Little Rock, Arkansas, Terry Mullins and wife, Pam of Poteau, and Barry Mullins and wife, Lynda of Okmulgee; and several nieces and nephews. Perry was preceded in death by his parents: Leroy and Mary Ruth Mullins.
