Joyce Mullan, 86 year old Mooreland resident passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 in Oklahoma City. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Mooreland. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Joyce Marie (Arbogast) Mullan was born to Lloyd and Edna Marie (Chastel) Arbogast on June 9, 1937 in Quinlan, Oklahoma. Joyce attended and graduated from Wellington High School in Kansas. She was united into marriage to Roy Wayne Mullan on May 1, 1976 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The couple made their first home in Colorado Springs then moving to Illinois, Alaska, and California before settling in Mooreland, Oklahoma.
Joyce enjoyed jet skiing, four wheeling, volunteering at the Baptist church, singing in the church choir, traveling and going on a ocean cruises.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Roy Mullan of the home; two sons, Mitchell Woodring and wife Trina; Paul Mullan; one daughter, Robyn Succarde and husband Troy; five grandchildren, Michael, April, Shane, Nicole, and Chevy; six great grandchildren, Ryan, Devon, Brooke, Catalina, Chandler and Chevelle; one sister, Dorthy Reynolds and husband Larry; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Donna Beggs, and her twin daughters.
