David Wayne Mugg Jr. was born June 27, 1958, to the late David Wayne Sr. and Marilee Kohout Mugg in Big Springs, Texas, and passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, in Wichita, Kan.
He graduated from Richmond High School in Richmond, Mich., in 1976.
On Sept. 3, 1982, he married Margaret Lehman in Long Beach, Miss.
He was a true Renaissance man, a beloved husband and father, a brave soldier, veteran and teller of tales. He loved the outdoors and lived to serve others. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Everett and Altha Mugg of Tonkawa, Okla.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie; son, David T. Mugg; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and AJ Schrag; sisters, Katrina Palan and Molly Rowe; and brother, Bill Mugg.
The Mugg family feels any money one would spend on floral arrangements should instead be given to charity. The family suggests the Wounded Warrior Project, your local V.F.W. or veteran support program, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
