Michael Eugene Mosqueda was born April 13, 1980 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Fred Mosqueda Sr. and Margaret Farren Mosqueda.
He passed away unexpectedly February 5, 2015 in Arcadia at the age of 34.
Michael lived in Canton with his grandparents, Frank and Imogene and attended school there for a short time.
He moved to Harrah where he finished his schooling and graduated in 1999. He went on to play drums in his band, Hindsight 20/20, and worked as a veterinary assistant for years. Michael truly loved all of God's creatures. He possessed a great love and passion for music and animals as well as photography and storm chasing.
Michael could walk into a room and light it up putting a smile on everyone's face. He was a proud, strong, loyal Arapaho Indian loved by many who cherished his smile that could melt your heart. Michael loved his family with a deep compassion. He cared for his mother unconditionally and was a best friend to his brother, Fred, and sister, Nicole. He was a wonderful uncle to his nephews, Austin and Mathew and nieces, Emma and Heaven. He was the glue that kept his family together.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larry and Mary Farren; paternal grandparents, Frank and Imogene Mosqueda; cousins, April Rose Mosqueda and Diana Danielle Mosqueda; nephews, Ryder Flirt and Alex Elerick.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Farren Mosqueda; father, Fred Mosqueda Sr.; brother, Fred Mosqueda, Jr., sister, Nicole Mosqueda; niece, Heaven; nephew, Mathew; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins from Oklahoma and Wyoming.
Michael wouldn't want tears of sadness but rather, happy tears to warm our hearts as we remember the moments he was with us. He will forever be with us in his eternal spirit and would want us to think of him and be filled with happy thoughts and wonderful memories. So for now it is not "goodbye" rather, it is "till we all meet again".
A memorial service will be held honoring Michael's life at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Lehman Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
