Gracie Mae (Underwood) Morrow
March 03, 1935 ~ February 19, 2018

Gracie Mae Morrow, age 82, of Lawton passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018.

Gracie Mae Morrow was born on March 3, 1935 in Sipe Springs Texas to L.D. and Ruby Mae (Adams) Underwood. She married the love of her life, Don Morrow, on January 10, 1950 in Comanche, Texas. Gracie was a Licensed Practical Nurse at McMahon Tomlinson Nursing Center in Lawton, but the job she was most proud of was working with her best friend Marylin Anthony at Lawton Heights Nursing Center as DON. She has touched many lives by being a "tough" nurse. She also served as church clerk for nine years at Immanuel Baptist Church, which was near and dear to her heart. Last but not least, she served on the PARB Board for three years.

Preceded in death by her husband Don A Morrow, by her parents, LD and Ruby Underwood; her brother, Larry Dean Underwood and her grandson, Donnie Wayne Morrow.

Gracie is survived by three children, Kay Ferrell and her spouse Gary and their son Matt, Wayne Morrow and his spouse Wanda and their children Jon and Grace and Suzy Glover and her spouse the late Jack Glover and their daughters Cheryl, Tina, LaDena, Kathyrn, and Kelli; sixteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Gracie has requested that memorial donations be made to Immanuel Baptist Church.

The family would also like the thank the loving, caring staff of Cedar Crest Manor for loving her and taking good care of her.
