Don Arl Morrow, Lawton, was born July 12, 1930 in Sipe Springs, Texas to Charlie and Mertie [Burleson] Morrow. He died peacefully at a local care facility on September 20, 2014 with his family at his side.
Don grew up in Texas and after graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force.
He married Gracie Mae Underwood in Comanche, Texas on January 10, 1950. They moved to Lawton in 1957.
Don worked as a meat cutter for Safeway stores for many years. He coached his children's little league football and softball teams and was a deacon at Immanuel Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Meat Cutter's Union.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mertie; brothers, Blue Morrow, JB Morrow, Wayne Morrow, Billie Jo Morrow and Gayle Morrrow; and brother-in-law Larry "Boots Underwood.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Gracie; children: Kay Ferrell and husband Gary, Wayne Morrow and wife Wanda, and Suzy Glover and husband Jack; and a sister-in-law Faye Underwood. Grandchildren: Matt Ferrell and wife Tanna, Jon Morrow and wife Amber, Grace Carter and significant other Al Shauger, Cheryl Glover, LaDena Baker and significant other Jack Bardin, Kelli Copeland and significant other Nicc Hill, Tina Plume and husband Mike and Kathryn Moreland and husband Thomas. Great-grandchildren: Korren, Cody, and Holden Ferrell; Noah and Brianna Blazek [Morrow]; Haiden Carter; Cody and Nikki Trevino; Clinton Trevino and wife Cassie; Jason Glover and wife Britney; Kasyn Baker; BranDon and Evan Johnson; Lexi Glover; Michael Plume; and Ashlynn Jones. Great-great grandchildren: Cynlea, Kayden and Arianna. He also has many extended family members and friends.
