Larry Gene Morrison passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 81 in his home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was born on September 26, 1940, in Bowling Green, Ohio to Roscoe and Thelma (Harmon) Morrison.
In his early years Larry worked at the Nevada Test Site in Mercury, Nevada near Area 51 and later moved to Nowata, Oklahoma to help with his family’s cattle farm. On February 17, 1996, he married Joyce Morrison. He was a car enthusiast and was a member of the Oldies ‘N Goodies Car Club in Bartlesville. He entered many car shows over the years. He loved old cars, but his favorite was always the El Camino. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his father Roscoe Morrison; mother, Thelma Morrison; son, Bret Morrison; and great granddaughter, Faith Morrison.
He is survived by wife Joyce Morrison; daughter, Kari Elston and husband Kevin; son, Corey Conner and wife Chelsie; daughter in law, Elaina Morrison; grandchildren, Larry Lee Morrison, Ronnie Morrison, Heather Higbee and husband Cory, Jarad Elston and wife Lindsey, Tyler Elston and fiancé Samantha Boussard, Taryn Elston, Camryn Ansley and husband Tyler, Cade Conner, Gabe Cheves, Dace Dougherty, Chloe Conner; great grandchildren, Kayla, Ty Ross, Trey, Brody Lee, and Kyle Morrison, Kyle and Conner Soelle, Hayden, Karsyn & Kennedy Morrison and Emma & Owen Elston, and coming soon Bex Ansley.
