Rose Mary (Leigh) Morris

Rose Mary (Leigh) Morris
June 16, 1954 ~ March 14, 2018

Rose Mary Morris was born June 16, 1954 to Roy and Leoida Leigh in Bristow, Oklahoma. She departed this life March 14, 2018 at the age of 63 years 8 months and 26 days. She was a lifelong Bristow resident.

A Bristow High School graduate, Rose went on to complete some courses in the medical field at central tech and was currently working for Cardinal Health. Her very first job was Miss Elaine’s Garment Factory and later on worked at Kwikset. Rose Leigh and Michael Morris spent forty plus years dedicated to each other in marriage; together they had three children whom she loved immeasurably. She always found joy in cooking, looked forward to her and Michael’s Saturday outings and spoiled the true joy in her life, her grandkids.

Rose is survived by her husband, Michael; two sons, Matthew Morris and wife Maranda of Bristow and James Morris and wife Hillary of Chandler; one daughter, Tess Henderson and husband Russell of Broken Arrow; two brothers, four sisters and five grandchildren, Lauren, Hailey, Luke, Levi, and Scarlett. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Monday, March 19, 2018 at Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home Chapel.
