Richard I. Morris, Jr. of Apache, Oklahoma was born November 7, 1928 in Oklahoma City to Richard I. and M. Marie (Patrick) Morris, Sr. He passed away in his home July 4, 2013 at the age of 84.
Richard lived and worked in the Oklahoma City area most of his life. He traveled much of the United States while working in sales and repair of sewing machines.
After he retired in 2003, he moved to Apache. His greatest enjoyment was playing golf.
He is survived by:
1 son - Wayne Morris - Loveland, CO, 3 grandchildren, 1 sister - Beverly Freeman - Oklahoma City, OK. His nieces and nephews - Beverly Wood - Boerne, TX, Brenda Garner - Mississippi, Vicki Freeman - Oklahoma City, OK,
Greg Freeman - Oklahoma City, OK, Dave Carter- Gulf Port, MS, James Morris - Apache, OK,Starla Claborn - Apache, OK, Lynda O'Brien - Enid, OK, John Morris - Ponca City, OK. Many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Warner D. Morris.
Services and inurnment will follow at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
