Kelli Dawn (Bennett) Morris

Kelli Dawn (Bennett) Morris
October 10, 1964 ~ February 16, 2022

Kelli Dawn Morris, 57, of Bartlesville, passed peacefully in her sleep on February 16th, 2022 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Kelli was born on October 10, 1964 to Mr. Veranzo and Wanda Bennett of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was a longtime resident of Bartlesville. She attended College High where she met the love of her life, Charley Morris. Kelli and Charley were married in Bartlesville on October 21, 1983 and made their home in Bartlesville. On January 29th, 1984, they welcomed their only child Michael Wayne Morris. Kelli was a full time mother and homemaker. She worked for Boulevard Pharmacy for several years until going to work in the pharmacy at K-Mart. She also worked for Bartlesville Public Schools at Wilson Elementary.

Kelli enjoyed crafting, listening to music much too loudly, dancing, reading, and cooking for her family. In her younger years, she loved spending time with friends, photography and camping. She loved Lucille Ball and I Love Lucy. Above all, she loved being with her pride and joy, Michael. She had a contagious laugh and once she started she couldn’t stop. She loved her Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. She had a firm faith in the Lord and knew one day she would see her Daddy again.

In 2018, she left the workforce to be a part time homemaker and fulltime grandma. She fell in love again after the birth of her last grandchild, Elisabeth “Ellie” Morris. Their bond was unbreakable. Ellie thought the world of Grandma and Grandma loved her Punkin Pie. Kelli loved each of her grandchildren so much. She enjoyed every minute of being Grandma. Treats, seconds and dinner and late night cuddles were never denied. She was a blessing as a Grandma.

Kelli was preceded in death by her father, Veranzo Bennett of Bartlesville in 1972.

Kelli is survived by her husband, Charley Morris of Bartlesville, son and daughter in law, Michael and Jennifer Morris of Bartlesville, her mother, Wanda Bennett of Bartlesville, her sister Tami Forrest of Bartlesville, and her brother Todd Bennett of Bartlesville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Griffin, Addison, Jackson, Greyson, and Elisabeth “Punkin Pie” Morris of Bartlesville. As well as her niece Rachel Forrest and nephew Matthew Forrest of Bartlesville. And many dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a yet to be determined time.
