Gloria Gene "Susie" Morgan

March 20, 1951 ~ January 3, 2004

 No services are scheduled at this time for Gloria Gene “Susie” Morgan, 52, of Marietta.

Ms. Morgan was born March 20, 1951, in Dallas, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Genie Pauline Lambert Morgan. She died Saturday, January 3, 2004, at her residence.

A resident of Love County most of her life, Ms. Morgan worked as a caregiver. She attended Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta.

Survivors include a son, Murle Gregory of Thackerville; a daughter, Genie L. Gregory of Thackerville; four brothers, Albert Carson of Dallas, Sam Houston Morgan of Grand Saline, Texas, Charles Morgan of Quinlan, Texas, and Jackie Morgan of Fruitvale, Texas; a sister, Betty Gene Elder of Oregon; a daughter-in-law, Jeanie Gregory of Healdton; a second mother to her, Gladys Lee Gregory of Marietta; and nine grandchildren.

Ms. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ricky Gerald Gregory on December 30, 1995; a nephew, Sam Houston Morgan Jr.; and a brother, Buddy Morgan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
