Martha (Fuson) Morehead, age 86 of Purcell, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the Purcell Municipal Hospital. She was born August 19, 1929 in Tishomingo, OK to Tom and Agnes Fuson. Martha married Joe H. Morehead at Trinity United Methodist Church in Purcell, OK on January 8, 1951. Martha was a homemaker, a hairdresser and also a Nurse�s Assistant at Norman Regional Hospital before retiring in 1985. She moved from Norman to Purcell after retirement and has called it home ever since. She was a longtime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Purcell. She was preceded in death by: Her husband, Joe H. Morehead; Her parents, Tom and Agnes Fuson; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Martha leaves behind: Two sons, Joe K. Morehead and wife Paula of Riverton, WY and Mike Morehead of Norman; Two grandchildren, Miranda Jo Morehead and Shawn Patrick Morehead and wife Christina of Riverton, WY; One great grandchild, Raine McCoy Morehead of Riverton, WY; Five sisters, Tommie Bettis of Durant, OK, Tina Rath of Norman, OK, Sue Allen of Stonewall, OK, Linnie Smith of Purcell and Lenora Hobbs of Purcell; One brother, Ed Fuson of Ardmore, OK; Three nieces and eight nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church "Memorial Fund" in Martha's name.
