Randy Wayne Moore, 57, of Durant passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, in Denison, TX. Randy was born to Charles Capel Moore and Willie Katherine (Singleton) Moore on August 24, 1965, in Durant, OK. He was the second youngest of five children.
Randy grew up in the Durant area and graduated from Durant High School. He worked as a plant manager for 22 years at Stahl. After Stahl’s closing, he worked for Eagle Suspension as a product developer. Randy will always be remembered as the hard working, family man he was, and for his unbreakable bond he created with his best friend and grandson, Elijah Kaius Moore. He loved spending his time listening to Rock n’ Roll and drumming passionately. Later in life, Randy enjoyed spending his time with his wife, Angela, listening to Southern Baptist services on T.V, drinking coffee, and the Bible studies that they would hold with each other in their home. He was a loving grandfather, father, and doting husband.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Willie Moore, and brother Charles Francis Moore. Randy is survived by his wife, Angela Moore, and his two sons, Randy W. Moore II (Abriana Moore) and Trevor D. Moore of Durant, two brothers, Richard Allen Moore and Robert Edward Moore of Durant, sister Cheryl Katherine Moore of Durant, three grandchildren Elijah Kaius Moore, Miah Evelyn Moore, Korra Elise Moore, and soon to be born grandson, his three step children, Craig W. Owings (Michelle), Crystal D. Smith, and Courtney L. Roberts, and his numerous step grandchildren.
Family visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 4-6PM at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel.
