Nelda Moore

September 13, 1911 ~ November 2, 1994

Services for Nelda Moore, 84, were at 2:00 p.m. November 4, 1994, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home in Overton, Texas.

Mrs. Moore was born September 13, 1911, in Marietta and died November 2 at her home in Henderson, Texas. Mrs. Moore grew up in the Greenville community and had been a longtime resident of Henderson where she owned and operated Jack Moore Grocery from 1938 until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henderson.

Survivors include her son, Joe Moore of Thibodaux, Louisiana; two brothers, King Riley of Overton and S.M. Riley of New London, Texas; six nieces and four nephews.

Interment was in Lakewood Memorial Park, Henderson, with Carl Riley, Curtis Riley, Rodney Riley, Ryan Riley, Horace Riley, Sidney Riley, Dr. Paul Glass and Kim Bryan serving as pallbearers.
