Dannie Dale Moore was born February 9, 1952 in Watonga, OK to Dale and Wauneta Moore of Canton, OK. He passed away on August 16, 2024 at 72 years of age surrounded by his family.
Dannie was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Wauneta and his brother Blair Moore.
He is survived by his wife Marla Moore of Canton, OK, his son John Moore and wife Bobbi of Blanchard, OK, his son Danny Moore and wife Carie and their two children Rayann and Kolton of Yukon, OK, and his cousin Glenda Wilcox of Canton, OK, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dannie grew up in Canton, OK and graduated from Canton High School in 1970.
He married Marla on January 14, 1972. They were married for 52 years. Dannie enjoyed traveling, woodworking, going to Nascar events and spending time with his family.
After 30 years of working in the oilfield Dannie retired and began traveling more and attending his grandchildren’s activities and sporting events. He also helped his local family with farming, welding, and building things.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Canton with Don Foster officiating.
Dannie lived life to the fullest as best he could. He loved his family fiercely and was a rock for all of us. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
