Leo L. “Fuzzy” Mooney, Jr. , age 61 of Wayne, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at Norman Regional Healthplex. Fuzzy was born December 27, 1951 in Ada, OK. He was the 2nd child of 2 children born to Leo L. Mooney, Sr. and Jeanice (Sewell) Mooney. Fuzzy grew up in Wayne and attended Wayne Schools, graduating in 1970. While in school he was a standout athlete in both baseball and football. He married Lynann Franklin and to this union, a daughter, Tamra and a son, Leo III were born. Fuzzy worked as a truck driver for many years and in the Wayne community for local farmer. His first love was mechanics and he greatly enjoyed just tinkering on stuff. Fuzzy lived life to the fullest. He was a free spirit and had a huge heart. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: His parents, Leo and Jeanice Mooney.

He is survived by: His daughter, Tamra Mooney of Moore and His son, Leo Mooney III, of Moore; His sister, Pam Bennett and husband Dennis of Wayne, and A host of other family and friends.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Rosedale, OK. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. Memorials may be made at McClain Bank c/o Leo L. Mooney Jr. Memorial Fund.
