Louis Mooney Sr., who passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2006. Louis was born October 21, 1935 in Columbia, Missouri to Louis F. and Helen (Sullivan) Mooney.
He graduated from High School in Jefferson, Wisconsin. He service in the US Navy during the Korean War serving from December 1952 until December 1960. He was awarded the Good Conduct and National Defense Medals. He worked as a Supervisor at McDonald Douglas before his retirement.
Louis was a member of the American Legion, VFW and Moose Lodge. He went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 25th at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa.
His parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by: Son, Louis Mooney Jr. and wife Melissa of Claremore, Oklahoma Brothers, Burris Dwayne Mooney and wife Margaret of Claremore, Oklahoma Terry Mooney and wife Cynthia of Lake Charles, Louisiana Robert Mooney San Diego, California Donny Verhalen of Phoenix, Arizona Sister, Carol Scott of Owasso, Oklahoma Mary Ann Mooney of San Diego, California Debra Hieserich and husband Larry of Rio Dell, California Four Grandchildren, Dylan, Kayla, Maggie Mae & Ashton. And a host of other relatives and friends.
