John Parker Monts, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.
John was born March 28, 1978 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was employed by Lawton Public Schools at Central Middle School and previously at Cameron University. John loved fishing, cooking and grilling. He loved to watch the Pioneer Woman and other cooking shows.
Survivors include his father, John Parker Monts, Sr. Lawton, brothers Todd Parker-Oklahoma City, and Jerry Parker-Texas, Aunts-Gwendolyn Y. Monts, Sharon E. Monts, Cheryl A. Monts, Elaine McCain, all from Lawton, Uncles-Isaac Monts, Gregory Monts, Lawton, and one loving daughter-Jazmine Monts. He has a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his Mother Rebecca Ann Monts, one Uncle Hugh A. Monts, and Paternal Grandparents Isaac and Annie Grace Monts. Special Thanks to the Staff at Central Middle School and Douglass Learning Center.
