A memorial service for Nadia Nicole Monteneri, age 28, will be held at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Home on Friday, April 20, 2018, at 2:00 PM.
Nadia was born October 19, 1989, in Galveston, Texas to Crystal and Larry Delaney. She grew up in southern Texas, later moving to Ponca City, Oklahoma and graduating from Ponca City High School.
Nadia later moved to Lawton, Oklahoma and began her career as a floor cashier at the Fort Sill Apache Casino. She loved working at the casino and her fellow employees. It was at the casino where she met the love of her life, Devin Corley, in 2011. After becoming engaged in 2016 Nadia and Devin decided to start anew adventure in sunny Florida. In Port Charlotte, Nadia worked at Victoria's Secret as temporary manager. Among her many hobbies Nadia's favorites were her dog Caesar, the beach, restoring furniture, shopping, getting her nails done and sleeping; but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Crystal Delaney and her grandparents, Nadia is survived by her husband Devin Corley; sister, Brittany Delaney of Ponca City; brother, Vincent Monteneri of Warren, Ohio; stepmother, Sally Delaney of Blackwell, Oklahoma and three step-siblings along with many extended family members and friends.
