Dari Joyce (Allen) Money passed from this life on February 11, 2021 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 74. She was born on May 13, 1946 to William Franklin and Geneva Julia (Burge) Allen in Dallas, Texas. She married the love of her life Bob Money on November 3, 1981 in Durant, Oklahoma.
Dari was a member of the Lion’s Club, helped at the American Legion in Linden, Texas and volunteered as a Pink Lady at the gift shop in the hospital. She was a driver for public transportation, until she retired. But her passion was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother “sweetheart” and great-grandmother and taking care of her family.
Dari is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bob Money, her 3 daughters Diana Dodson and husband Gary of Irving, Texas, Kristina Bruce and husband Daniel of Colbert, Oklahoma, and Robin Carr and husband Hans of Denver, Colorado. She has 5 sons Robert Money and wife Dolly of Sachse, Texas, Bill Money of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Jimmy Money and wife Becky of Russellville, Kentucky, Allen Henderson of Lamesa, Texas, Stephen Money and wife Joyce of Linden, Texas, and son-in-law Phil Cabesuela of Cash, Texas. Dari has one brother Wesley Allen and wife Cynthia of Mt Vernon, Texas, and one nephew, Wendell Allen, and his wife Marki of Miller Grove, Texas. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Dari was preceded in death by her parents William and Geneva, daughter Dari Ruth Cabesuela, and two grandsons Michael Dodson and Kevin Money.
A memorial service will be held at the Victory Life Church 4100 North Travis, Sherman, Texas on February 28, 2021 at 2 o’clock pm. Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. www.holmescoffeymurray.com
