Kenneth Wayne "Papa Ken" Mobley

May 24, 1937 ~ January 14, 2017

No services are planned at this time for Kenneth Wayne �Papa Ken� Mobley, 79, of Stonewall.

Mr. Mobley passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Oklahoma City Veterans Hospital. He was born May 24, 1937 at Hope Mills, North Carolina to William Lambert and Cora Doris Devereaux Mobley.

He married Audrey Provost in 1968. She preceded him in death June 19, 2012. Mr. Mobley was a gas separator for Air Lockheed and had served in the U. S. Air Force from 1955 until 1967 in Vietnam.

Survivors include four sons, Willie Mobley, Frank Mobley, Robert Mobley and John Mobley, all of California; a daughter, Mary Ann Mobley of Ada; his step-children, Raymond Stevens, Ada, Kathy Ellis-Sweet and husband Ricky of Stonewall and Karen Ann Dunn and husband Kirk of North Carolina; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a step-son, Larry; three brothers, Lewis, Stacy and Jerry; and a sister Clara.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 748417, Topeka, KS 66675; or the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
