Martha Marie (Bolin) Mitchell
March 18, 1945 ~ September 13, 2023

Martha Marie Mitchell, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born March 18, 1945, in Lawton, Oklahoma. She departed this life on September 13, 2023, at her home in Chandler at the age of 78 years.

Martha was the daughter of B.M. and Cora (Mathews) Bolin. She grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma, and worked on the family farm. Martha married Bill Strickland in 1965, at Shawnee, Oklahoma. She worked as a Manager at the Olin Mills Photography Studio in Wichita Falls, Texas, for many years. After her husband Bill passed away in 2001, she married Harry Bud Mitchell. Martha moved to Chandler in 2010 to be closer to her daughter and grandson. She loved sewing, fishing with her family, and playing games on the computer. Martha was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Webb and Dorothy West; four brothers, Joe Bolin, Travis Bolin, Vanoy Bolin and Larry Bolin.

Survivors include her daughter and grandson Levina Gough and Daniel Gough of Chandler; one sister Lanoy Peters of El Reno, Oklahoma; other relatives and many friends.

At the family's request, please respect their privacy at this very difficult time.
