Mary Eunice Mitchell, born December 2, 1921 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Robert and Ruby Cotton.
Mary passed away in Shafter, CA on October 24, 2007.
The family moved to California in 1932. She attended Fruitvale Elementary School and later Kern Union High School. Mary always made room in her heart and home for her family. She will be remembered for her creative ways of making wonderful memories.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Dale Mitchell; daughter, Carolyn Faye Martin; and son, Kenneth Leon Stovall. Mary is survived by her sister, Rosetta Roper; daughters, Babara Hord and husband, Chuck, Tawana Parker, and husband, Richard; 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the A~wing at the Golden Living Center for caring for Mary in her time of need.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 30th, at 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary.
