Harold 'Joe' Millsap, 74, died Nov. 20, 2007, at Midwest City Hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1932, in Tyler, Texas.
Joe was a man of all trades and a master of most. His interests were limitless. His greatest loves were the Lord, his wife Norma, his family and friends. Joe regularly attended Life Church.
Joe retired from OG&E in 1992, after 25 years of employment.
He was retired Air Force Master Sgt. and a Veteran of the Korean War.
Joe was the current President of the Central OK Woodturners Assoc., having spent most of his retirement years mastering the art of woodturning and mentoring novice woodturners. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner of India Temple, a member of Gold Wing Road Riders Assoc., and a member of the Midwest City Senior Golf Assoc.
Joe is survived by his wife, Norma of 57 years; daughter, Linda Vaughn of Edmond; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and E.J. Hagar of Mustang. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Toby Vaughn and wife, Jessica of Frisco, TX; Joseph of Mustang; Jason Hagar of Mustang; Magen Vaughn of Edmond.
Joe is preceded in death by his son Joe Jr.
A Celebration of Joe's life to be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 at 1:00 PM, at Spencer Senior Citizen Center (3605 McCoy Dr., behind Spencer Fire Department) Casual Attire Please.
