Sherman “Bo” Thomas Miller Jr, age 78, passed away on August 20, 2021. Bo was born on April 7, 1943, in Atoka to Sherman Thomas Miller Sr. and Eliza (Wilson) Miller. Sherman attended Bell High School in Bell, California. He served in the United States Army and worked as an engineer for the FAA. Bo belonged to the Chahta Veterans Organization. He was a member of Grace Indian Baptist Church, and he served as song leader and helped in starting churches for the Southern Baptist. He devoted his life to the care of his mother and his children. Bo was a loving family man.
He is preceded in death by his Parents Sherman Sr. and Eliza Miller, his brothers Colbert Able Miller, Nathaniel Miller. His 3 sisters, Rhoda Anderson, Marjorie Miller, Imagene Swimmer.
Left to cherish his memories are his Sister Linda Addis of Durant, his daughter Danielle Miller and son Dakota Miller both of Durant. His grandchildren: Summer Rose Wynde of Minneapolis MN, Destiny Miller of Minneapolis, MN, Dezmond Miller of Minneapolis, MN, Darrien Wynde of Waubay, SD, Valencia Wilson of Minneapolis, MN, Scott Archambault of Broken Arrow, OK, Eliza Archambault of Broken Arrow, OK.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant. Visitation will be on Friday August 27, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant. Online condolences can be made at www.BrownsFuneralService.com
