Mona Gail Miller, daughter of Kenneth and Alma (Northington) Miller, was born on July 17, 1958 in Altus, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 59 years 4 months and 13 days.
Mona loved her family and friends and enjoyed being around them and visiting as often as possible and, as many of us know, she absolutely loved to talk so it was rare to have a short conversation with her. She also loved helping people and caring for people and had a very kind and generous personality.
When talking with Mona, you could never forget that sweet smile and twinkle in her eye. Mona loved her kids dearly and would often spend time with them but her grandbabies were her world. She loved her grandchildren with all that she was and since her newest grandbaby, Penelope, was born in July, she spent many of her days babysitting sweet little "P" as she would call her. All of her grandchildren were the light of her life and she would've done anything for them. Mona also adored her two little schnauzers, Secret and Ruby, who have been by her side for many years.
Mona was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Miller; sister, Donna Croley and sister, Debbie Davis.
She is survived by a very loving family which includes her father, Kenneth Miller of Stilwell, sister, Stacy Bird and husband Eddy Bird of Stilwell, brother, Tom Owens and wife Diane of Pulaski, Tenn., daughter, Christie Harris of Stilwell; daughter, Alicia Deason and husband Jason Catron of Stilwell; son, Nathan Miller of Fayetteville, Ark., and son, Aaron Miller of Fayetteville, Ark., 11 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Roberts/Reed- Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with Brother Eddy Bird officiating.
