Everett E. Miller, age 79, of Shawnee, OK passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Shawnee, OK.
He was born January 1, 1940 in Shawnee to Floyd Everett Miller and Mildred Rose (Hill) West.
Everett was a lifelong resident of Shawnee and graduated from Shawnee High School. He then attended Seminole State College.
Everett married Ann Miller on September 19, 1997 n Van Buren, Arkansas.
He proudly served his country in both the Army Reserves and United States Air Force.
After his military service he went to work at Tinker Air Force Base, retiring in 1990 but continuing to work there.
Everett loved to play golf and enjoyed camping. He was a hard worker and dedicated to his profession. Everett loved to help people and he had many friends on the golf course.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Everett is survived by his wife Ann, of the home; daughter, Patrice Miller of Duncan, OK; son, David Miller of Shawnee; 2 granddaughters; 1 great granddaughter; sister, Sue Lowery of Wanette, OK; and many other family and friends.
Private family graveside services will be held under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
