Don Leroy Miller

Private family services will be held at a later date for Don Leroy Miller, 84, Hennessey.

Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Don was born Jan. 23, 1931 at Littlefield, Texas to Leroy and Rebecca Gallup Miller and died Tues., June 21, 2016 at Hennessey Care Center. He taught Junior High School in Hobbs, N.M. for over 30 years. Don spent his summers in Alaska for over 20 years where he was a fishing guide.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Don was preceded in death by one niece, Susan Collins.

He is survived by two nephews, Max Miller Jr. of Crescent and Larry Miller and wife Diana of Hennessey; one niece, Donna Barker and husband Gene of Crescent, and several great nieces and nephews.
