Beverly Ann Miller, 78, of Colbert, OK passed away peacefully May 18, 2026 in Colbert, OK.
She was born March 21, 1946 in Colbert, OK to the late Dorothy Higgins
Baker and Cecil Boone Baker. She attended Colbert Public Schools.
Beverly
worked in various fields before retiring from Bohnam VA.
The last of seven husbands, Beverly married Johnny Miller on December 22, 2000. She was never one to give dating advice as she liked to declare “I don’t date men, I marry them!”
She loved to thrift with her sister Pat and they would collect any little treasure they could. She also enjoyed dancing.
Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Miller, sisters Patricia Reed and Nelda Baker, brother Harold Baker, and nephew Shawn Metcalf.
She is survived by her brothers Cecil Baker and Dave Shatto, nephews Bryan Metcalf, Cecil Lee Baker, Travis Shatto, and Stacy Shatto, nieces Renee Bundrant Olguin, Melisa Ann Baker, and Ursula Baker, numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 1100 at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, OK. Family friend John Dozier will officiate. This will be a joint service with her sister, Pat.
Family and friends are invited to join together at Platter Flats Pavilion directly after the service for food and remembrance.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Victory Hospice and nurse Lyndsi for your care and availability leading up to her last days. Taking the time to sit and connect with Beverly is truly appreciated and has not gone unnoticed.
