Thomas Russell "Rusty" Milburn was born October 14, 1974 in Canadian, Texas to Wayne and Sandie Milburn.
He went to meet his Lord on Friday, August 15, 2003 at the age of 28 years.
He was raised in Canadian, Texas where he went to school and was a member of the First Christian Church.
He moved to Cheyenne, Oklahoma in 2002.
Rusty was a special person who would do anything for anyone and always had a smile. He was a loving Daddy and a good friend. He loved spending time with all the kids and riding his four wheeler.
He also enjoyed tinkering with things, taking them apart and putting them back together. Sometimes, it worked, sometimes it didn't, but he would always keep trying.
Rusty touched the lives of many people.
He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Homer Thomas and Leonard Milburn; a cousin, Minda Kay Thomas; and one uncle, Jack Milburn.
He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Sandie Milburn of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one brother, Leland Jessie Milburn of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; two daughters, Taylor Milburn and Trinity Milburn of Noble, Illinois; a special friend, Rhonda Newcomb and her sons, Anthony, Matt, Jace and Bo Newcomb; grandmothers, Georgia Thomas and Norma Milburn, both of Canadian, Texas; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
Services were held Monday, August 18, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Canadian, Texas with Rev. Rick Timmons, Pastor of the Central Baptist Church of Canadian and Jerell Norris, officiating.
Interment was at the Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery, Canadian, Hemphill County, Texas under the direction of Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors.
