Ruth Ann (Ward) Mihalakis entered the arms of her Lord on Saturday, September 20, 2025 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Ruth Ann was born on May 5, 1949 in Roberta, Oklahoma to Clyde and Hazel Ward. She graduated from Blue High School.
Ruth Ann married the love of her life, Monte Mihalakis on August 19, 1991. They made their home in Sherman, Texas. She spent 33 loyal years working for Johnson & Johnson. Ruth Ann enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved her church family just as much and looked forward to her time there.
Ruth Ann was a member of Roberta Baptist Church where she was a devoted servant. Her deep love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of her life. She played a vital role as a Sunday School teacher where she taught the young children all about Jesus. She organized numerous children activities from Easter celebrations to music programs. Ruth Ann was an excellent organist. She lovingly played every Sunday until the Lord called her home.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Clyde and Hazel Ward. She is survived by her husband, Monte Mihalakis, brother, Rodger Ward, daughter Monica Mihalakis and granddaughter, London Mihalakis. As well as stepchildren Pam Carter and husband, Ronny, Donell Loyd and husband, Don, and Cathy Reagan and husband, Jack.
A memorial service honoring Ruth Ann will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Roberta Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Mike Wingfield officiating.
