The funeral service for David Floyd Mick is 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018, at Enid First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Mark Brown officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home.
David was born May 15, 1958, in Enid to B.F. Floyd and Constance Ione (Pruitt) Mick, and passed away June 17, 2018, in Oklahoma City at Integris Baptist Hospital.
David was raised in Enid and graduated from Chisholm High School with the class of 1976. He then attended Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK. David worked with his father in real estate as an appraiser for many years.
He enjoyed hiking, fishing, riding horses, spending time outdoors, and visiting the state of Colorado. He was a very protective big brother, always coming to his little sister's rescue when they were growing up. David had a strong faith in God, family and friendship. He will be missed by all those who were blessed to know him.
David is survived by his mother and his sister, Patti Mick of Yukon.
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Conrad and Iona Pruitt; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Ellen (Carnes) Mick.
Memorials may be made to OMRF, Cancer Division, with the funeral home acting as custodian of the fund.
