Lisa Denise Michaud, 55, of Norman, died January 6, 2026, at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center. She was born October 12, 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Suzanne McDonnell.
She was a long-time employee of Encompass Health – Home Health & Hospice and last served as the Vice President of Human Resources of Enhabit Home Health & Hospice.
Lisa was a longtime member of the McFarlin Memorial United Methodist church, where in previous years she was an active volunteer teaching children’s Sunday School classes and producing a monthly newsletter for the Children’s Ministry.
Lisa also had been a long-time volunteer for the Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma, including leading her daughter’s Girl Scout troop for 12 years, and leading volunteer support services for volunteers in the Norman area. Lisa also was actively involved in her children’s activities, including volunteering at their elementary school while they were there, and volunteering as team manager for one of her son’s competitive soccer teams.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Ken McDonnell.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Dean of the home and children, Melanie, Brandon, and Ryan of Norman, Oklahoma; her mom, Suzanne McDonnell of Tulsa; and her sister Angela McManus of Tulsa.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Lisa’s life on January 12th at 1 PM at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society online at https://www.cancer.org/.
