Patsy Ruth (Thompson) Meyer was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on May 2, 1932 to the late William and Hazel (Kingelsmith) Thompson.
She was a graduate of East St. Louis High School and Southern Illinois University. She was a retired Illinois State employee.
Her brothers, Robert Edward and William Donald and sister, Lois Louise Stanley preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Kirk Erwin Meyer, daughter, Karen Lynn (Meyer) Glatzhofer, and grandson Kyle Leo Meyer.
Patsy was cremated and private family services will be held.
