Melita (Mooney) Metzner passed away Saturday at Jane Phillips Medical Center.
Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the Walker-Brown Chapel with Rev. Rick Woodward officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Melita Christina (Mooney) Metzner was born December 7, 1976 in Jacksonville, FL to Dante and Sheila (Dews) Lazatin. She graduated from Pauls Valley High School in Pauls Valley, OK in 1994. She was an assistant manager at Wal-Mart.
Melita enjoyed spending time with her family, collecting candles and through adversity, always gave her best.
She is survived by her three children, Aaran, Stephanie and Breana Mooney of the home. Her loving husband, Brandon L. Metzner. Two sisters, Melissa and husband Brian Bramblett and Melanie Lazatin. Mother, Sheila Dews, father, Dante Lazatin and step-father, Sam Johnson.
