Louis Daniel "Danny" Metscher
July 16, 1950 ~ May 24, 2019

A Celebration of Life for Louis Daniel "Danny" Metscher, age 68, of Enid, is 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2019, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30th, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Danny was born July 16, 1950, in Enid, to Clarence and Esther (Huggins) Metscher, and passed away Friday, May 24, 2019.

Danny graduated from Enid High School in 1968. He attended Phillips University before serving in the National Guard for six years. He previously was married to Jonette Hatfield. He married Pamela Emick Crabb July 28, 2000, in Enid, where they made their permanent home. He worked for A.W. Bruggeman Company as a CNC Machinist for 40 years until his retirement in 2014. He enjoyed gardening, fly fishing, camping, home-brewing, and traveling to Montana and Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Esther Metscher; brother Steve Metscher; and sister, Kathy Metscher-Teague. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Pamela Metscher, of Enid; stepdaughter, Amanda Crabb, of the home in Enid; brother, David Metscher and wife Carolene, of Enid; brother, Mike Metscher, of Texas; brother, John Metscher, of West Yellowstone, Montana; brother-in-law, John E. Emick, of Enid; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorials in Danny's name may be made to the Enid SPCA, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
