Tracie Dawn (Fletcher) Meredith

Tracie Dawn (Fletcher) Meredith
June 11, 1966 ~ September 24, 2025

Tracie Dawn Meredith, age 59, of Anna, Texas, passed away on September 24, 2025. She was born in Borger, Texas, to Charles Fletcher and Carol Lovan. Tracie lived in Borger, Texas where she grew up before moving to the Bryan County area. She attended Silo School District and was a Silo High School cheerleader.

Her adult affiliations were any and all lash bars, nail salons, and med spas, and her family is certain she was an elite member (possibly even president) of every high-end department store and online shopping site that would take an AMEX card.

She loved making everything beautiful. Patsy Cline and AC/DC were her favorite music. She was amazing at gardening and crafting, and she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was constantly outdoors, whether hanging out with the family in the backyard area or swimming at the pool. One of her most important passions was her precious fur baby, Bougie. Above all else, she prided herself on being 'Nanny,' not your average grandma. Even with the Nanny title, she often ran circles around the grandchildren. She was a lover, fighter, defender, and supporter, but above all else became the heart of the family. Nanny earned and forever holds the title of 'Our Matriarch.'

She was a member of Mead Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernon and Vesta Fletcher, Floyd and Maxine Rickman; her father, Charles Fletcher; her mother, Carol Lovan; and her nephew, Cole Jackson.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Meredith of Anna, TX; daughters Brandi Carter and husband Todd of Silo, OK, and Charli Morgan of Pottsboro, TX; step-daughter Meagan Meredith and husband Cean of Aubrey, TX; step-sons Matthew Meredith and wife Katy of Anna, TX, and Michael Meredith of Aubrey, TX. Grandchildren include Hailey Orozco and husband Nicolas of Durant, OK, Riley Glover of Tishomingo, OK, Mia Butcher of Cartwright, OK, Briar Butcher of Cartwright, OK, Sophia Carter of Silo, OK, great-grandsons Emiliano Orozco of Durant, OK, Mateo Orozco of Duncan, OK. She is also survived by her sister Cristi Hatch and husband Michael of Durant, OK; niece Cassi Langley and husband Cody of Calera, OK; great-nephews Luke Langley of Calera, OK, Easton Langley of Calera, OK, Bowen Langley of Calera, OK, Hudson Jackson of Durant, OK, Colson Jackson of Durant, OK, Braxtin Jackson, and Marshall Hatch of Durant, OK; great nieces, Marlee Jackson, and Kimber Jackson, aunt; Donna Rickman, and family friend Michael Hayden of Tishomingo, OK.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Goins, Kristi Crenshaw, Joey Findley, Andria Stolhand, Kimberly Crownover, and Brittney Larkins.

The moment that you left me, my heart was split in two.
One side was filled with memories, the other died with you.
I often lay awake at night, when the world is fast asleep,
And take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek.
Remembering you is easy, I do it every day,
But missing you is a heartache, that never goes away.
I hold you tightly within my heart, and there you shall remain.
Life has gone on without you, but it can never, ever be the same.

Services are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
