Paula Sue Mercer, 27, formerly of Enid, died suddenly Monday at her home in Bangor, Washington.
Memorial services will be observed at noon Friday in the Naval Base Chapel at Bangor, Washington. Cremation is under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel, Bremerton, Washington.
The former Paula Sue Faught, Mrs. Mercer was born January 21, 1953, in Oklahoma City. She attended schools in Enid, graduating from Pioneer High School in 1970. On October 3, 1970, she married Edgar E. Mercer in Enid. He entered the United States Navy in 1974. The couple had been residents of Bangor, Washington, since July 25, following his transfer from Charleston, South Carolina.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar; two sons, Robert D. And Michael A., both of the home; her father, Robert E. Faught, Oklahoma City; one brother, Robert A. Faught, Oklahoma City; one sister, Mrs. Dick (Sandy) Swiggart, Woodward; and maternal grandmother, Winnie Vaughn, Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
