Carl Dale Melton
July 24, 1918 ~ March 14, 2007

Carl Dale Melton was born on Wednesday, July 24, 1918 in Adair, Oklahoma to Curt and Anna Lee (Adair) Melton. He married Helen Stanley on Dec. 30, 1939 in Vinita, Oklahoma. Helen died April 17, 1981.

Carl worked as an electrician for Russell Hester's Rural Electric Company. He later work for Peabody Coal Company, retiring from there after working 16 years.

He went to be with the Lord Wednesday night, March 14, 2007 at Claremore Nursing Home in Claremore, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by her parents, his wife Helen, son Wayne and his brothers and sister.

He is survived by: One Daughter, Carlene Cobb and husband Jimmy of Cochrane, Alberta Canada Three Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren And a host of other relatives and friends.
