Betty Ann Melton 70, of Calera, Oklahoma passed away Sunday morning March 6, 2016 at Alliance Health Hospital in Durant, Oklahoma.
She was born February 2, 1946 in Waxahachie, Texas to Isaac Raymond and Willie Beatrice Hutchins Pitts.
She was educated in Carrollton, Texas schools and married Robert Melton April 13, 1963 in Farmers Branch, Texas.
Betty was a kind hearted woman who was very thoughtful with lots of love and devotion for her family, and loved many things like fishing, camping and just having fun. She was a homemaker living in Farmersville most of her life and has lived in Calera the past 13 years. Her inspiring presence will be deeply missed by all. May she rest in peace.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Robert Melton March 8, 1987, a Son Raymond Paul Melton and a Grandson Raymond Paul Melton, Jr.
Surviving is one Son Brain Melton, two Daughters Kelly Ramon and Stacy Kirby. One Sister: Bobbie Lanier and one Brother Terry Pitts.
She was a Grandmother to 13 Grandkids, and Great Grandma to 23 Great Grandkids and 1 Great-Great Grandchild and also had lots of Nieces and Nephews.
A Graveside Service for Betty Ann Melton will be held at 12 Noon Saturday March 12, 2016 at IOOF Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas.
Family night will be from 6-8 Friday night at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert. The register book may be signed and condolences sent to the family online via cunninghamfuneralhomesok.com. Arrangements are entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma.
