Sheila Ann Meisenheimer, longtime employee of Oklahoma State University, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008 in the Cushing Regional Hospital at the age of 51 years.
The daughter of the late Argus Yandell and Halla Mae Morgan Yandell, Sheila was born on September 8, 1956 in El Cerrito, California and was reared and educated in Fairfax, OK, attending and graduating from Fairfax High School where she was a cheerleader.
She was united in marriage to Mike Meisenheimer on Oct. 6, 1978 in Tulsa, OK.
Sheila had worked for Hughes Lumber Company for several years prior going to work at Oklahoma State University, working in several different departments with the University.
She was a member of the First Christian Church; she enjoyed being a life guard when she was younger; was an avid animal lover, and she loved to go bowling with her friends and family.
Survivors include her husband Mike Meisenheimer of the home; one son Steven Meisenheimer and his wife Angela of Norman, OK; one grandchild Emili; her brothers and sisters, Louise Allen of Richardson, TX., Ilene Roe and her husband Mundy of Stillwater, Karen Jackson and her husband Chris of Richardson, TX, Tony Yandell and Donnie Yandell both of Stillwater; her mother-in-law Katherine Meisenheimer of Neosho, MO; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather Virgil "Jiggs" Garner; an infant brother Paul Dean Yandell and one brother Argus Yandell, Jr.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in the First Christian Church with Dr. Larry Haney, officiating.
