Viola Faye Meeks, age 75, of Geronimo passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at her residence.
Viola was born on October 29, 1943 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Edward and Frances Poindexter. In her free time, she enjoyed butterflies, cooking, sewing, dancing and gardening but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, JoAnn Larsen and one sister, Pearl Williams, Viola is survived by two sons, Douglas Larsen and wife Cindy of Geronimo and Russell Larson Jr. of Lawton; three granddaughters, Paisley Larsen of Geronimo, Leslie Larsen of Lawton and LeAnn Larsen of Lawton; three sisters, Carma Buckmaster of Winfield, Kansas, Joyce Harden of Geronimo and Barbara Brown and husband Dan of Geronimo and two brothers, Eldon Poindexter and wife Martha of Lawton and Lee Poindexter and wife Lisa of Lawton along with numerous nieces, nephews and other close relatives.
